WBBPE Primary Teacher Eligibility Criteria

West Bengal Primary Education Board has mentioned following particulars as eligibility criteria for Primary Teacher Posts. Here are the educational qualification age limit and application for these posts.

Age Limit as on 01-01-2022

  • Minimum Age limit is 18 years.
  • Maximum Age limit is 40 years.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification

  • Senior Secondary or Intermediate Pass with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education or Special Education D.El.Ed. OR
  • 12th class pass with at least 45% marks and completed or appearing in the final year of a 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 1 year of Bachelor of Education or Special Education B.Ed.
