Air Force Agniveer Vayu Eligibility Criteria
Indian Air Force has notified fallowing eligibility criteria that includes Medical Standards, Age Limit and Educational Qualification that are fallows.
Age Limit
- Candidate must born between 27th June 2002 and 27th December 2005 both dates inclusive.
- If candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment should be 21 years.
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveer Vayu in IAF. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being Unmarried at the time of enrollment.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate should passed Intermediate (10+2) Equivalent Examination in any subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology and Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course.
Air Force Aginveer Vayu Medical Standards
- Height: Minimum height is 152.5 cm for Male candidates and 152 cm for Female candidates.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Chest: For male minimum chest circumference will be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be at least 5 cm. For female candidates the chest wall should be well proportioned with minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing that means able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.

How to Apply IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment

Agniveer Vayu Salary, Pay Allowances Beniifits
- Candidates enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs: 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment.
- Risk and Hardship allowances, Dress and Travel allowances will also be paid.
- Agniveer will be provided non-contributory Life Insurance cover of Rs: 48 Lakhs for the duration of their engagement period.
- At the end of engagement period, a detailed Skill-Set certificate will be provided to the candidate highlighting the skills and level of competency acquired by the personnel during their engagement period.
- Agniveer will be given one time Seva Nidhi package along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as tabulated below.
